ERASMUS+ NEWS: Movilidad Erasmus+ en Liubliana – Crónica del Primer Día

Nuestro alumnado ya está en Liubliana (Eslovenia) ✈️ disfrutando de su segunda movilidad Erasmus+🇪🇺. El primer día ha estado lleno de emociones, descubrimientos y primeras impresiones en esta nueva aventura europea.

A continuación, os dejamos sus propias palabras, donde comparten cómo han vivido este inicio tan especial.

“We started our trip to Zurich by plane on Monday. We left around 17:00 and we got there at 19:20. We had a stopover of two hours and half. The flight was programmed at 22:00 and we landed in Ljubljana, Slovenia at 23:00.

There, we had booked a private transport to the hotel. The driver was called Borrud and to be honest, he drove extremely fast. We arrived at the hotel half an hour sooner than planned, at 23:30.

Inside, the teachers gave us the keys for our bedrooms and we just got settled. As a funny anecdote, the doors of the first floor (ironically the ones of our teachers) didn’t close properly but finally they were able to close them.

The next day in the morning we had breakfast in the hotel. We met at 7:45 am and we really enjoyed having breakfast together.

Then, we went to the Postojna Cave. It is a very big cave, and we traveled inside by a small train. Inside, everything was dark and a little cold, but also very beautiful. We saw many stalactites and stalagmites. They look like stone icicles coming from the ceiling and growing from the ground. Some of them are very big and have different shapes. It felt like we were in another world.

After that, we visited Predjama Castle. This castle is built inside a mountain, which is very surprising. It looks like something from a movie. We learned about the history of the castle and how people lived there many years ago. The view from outside was also incredible.

Later, we went to a very special restaurant called Druga Violina. It is an inclusive place that has people with some disabilities as part of the staff. We really liked this idea. The food was also very good. We ate cannelloni, some soups and creams, and a type of stew. For dessert, we tried potic nic, a traditional cake.

After lunch, we took a bus to go to Socialna Akademija for an Italian class. It was interesting and fun to learn some new words. When the class finished, we went to the city center. We bought some ice cream and walked around for a while.

At the end of the day, we went to a special vegan restaurant called Veganika. The food there was very tasty and delicious, and we enjoyed it a lot. Finally, we took a bus back to the hotel. We were very tired, but also very happy after such a great day together and even happier to tell you, reader, about our first day in Ljubljana”
