MOVILIDAD ERASMUS+ EN LIUBLIANA: Crónica del Segundo Día

Ayer, nuestro alumnado continuó descubriendo Liubliana (Eslovenia) 🇪🇺 en su segundo día de movilidad Erasmus+, una jornada tan completa como enriquecedora.

A continuación, os dejamos su relato en primera persona, donde nos cuentan cómo han vivido este segundo día en Liubliana:

» Today was our second day in Slovenia, and it was also very interesting. We started the day as usual with breakfast at the hotel buffet. There were many options, and it gave us energy for the day.

After breakfast, we went to the city center for an introductory class of Slovenian with a teacher called Bojana, from the school Jezikovno Mesto. By the end of the lesson, we had learned more than 20 words. It was not easy, but it was fun to try a new language.

Then, we did a guided tour with Bojana around Ljubljana. Before starting, we had some coffee in a very bohemian and curious café. During the tour, we visited famous places, bridges, and the cathedral. We also learned an interesting fact: Slovenia has only about 60 homeless people, and the country offers a lot of social help so people do not have to sleep on the streets.

After the tour, we had a reservation at a traditional restaurant. We tried typical Slovenian sausages, goulash, and also a very good vegan dish. For dessert, we ate a kind of apple and chocolate strudel, and it was delicious for some of us,  but horrible for others.

When we finished lunch, we walked around the city center. Later, we went up to Ljubljana Castle by cable car. The views from the top were incredible. After coming down, we went on a boat trip along the river at sunset. It was a beautiful experience and really worth it. We even met another Erasmus teacher from Serbia called Tania.

Finally, we went back to the hotel, stopping at a market to buy dinner. We ended the day feeling tired, but very happy after such an interactive and relaxing day«
